Telford MoT Centre opened for business in August 2007 and has quickly established as a business offering a friendly service, and a fair MoT test. The MoT centre was opened with the very latest MoT equipment installed, which resulted in being one of the first garages in Telford to adopt the new Automatic Testing Lane (ATL) – This allows the ability to single man MoT tests.

We were the first MoT station in Telford to offer an online booking system which remains a very popular aspect of our website.

I am a sole trader, not an ltd company or part of any national chain. All dealings here are with me or my partner. Our business is important to us, and we pride ourselves on offering a fair and timely service. I grew up in Telford and have lived here all my life, so appreciate the importance of local business to the people of Telford. As a goodwill gesture, we do not charge for minor adjustments such as those found with headlamp aims or for water top us such as windscreen washers.

A bit about me

I started work in the motor trade straight from school, working in the local family business. This was a small independent garage where vehicle servicing/maintenance and forecourt services were offered. After completing my youth training scheme, I became a permanent member of the staff and continued to pursue further qualifications in the motor trade. At age 20, I became one of the youngest MoT testers in the Telford area which complimented the new MoT testing bay where I worked.

I continued to gain further qualifications including a higher national certificate in motor vehicle management and also became a member of the Institute of the motor industry. After 12 years working in the motor trade, I took a break from the motor trade. However, it was always a long term goal to own and run my MoT station and this eventually culminated in the opening of Telford MoT centre. With extensive experience working in and around the motor trade – You can be assured of a knowledgeable and pleasant experience when using Telford MoT centre.
